Report: Belarus sees no progress in Russia's union energy programs

MINSK, Jan 12 (PRIME) -- Belarus has seen no significant progress in the programs of energy, industry and transport integration with Russia, President Alexander Lukashenko said on Thursday as cited by Belarus Today.

"In spite of fulfillment of the bulk of measures (envisaged by the union programs), Belarus has seen no significant advancement, first of all, in the spheres of energy, industry, transport so far," the official said.

He said that some solutions were found during negotiations with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in December to last for at least three years. Consolidation of the agreements in the documents was in progress, he said.
